Empowering educators to create a lasting impact in Maths and Physics education
Pie Foundation's Teachers Training Program in Maths and Physics aims to address the issue of students struggling with basic concepts due to the lack of the right teacher.
Why This Program?
Our selection tests of students in STD VII and VIII for the foundation program revealed that many students are not familiar with important, essential, and interesting Maths and Physics concepts. We believe that a pool of good teachers who can teach these concepts in a simple and engaging manner to a small group of students staying around can make a significant difference.
We have observed that there are many highly qualified and capable women (and men) who have sacrificed their careers for the education of their children or for some other reasons. If these people can spare 4–6 hours per week to learn and teach basic mathematics and physics, we can make a significant impact together. The program aims to not only create a positive change in students by creating promising teachers.
Program Details
Designed to train possible teachers of Maths and Physics to teach students in STD V, VI, VII and VIII.
Participants will receive two lectures of two hours per week from experts to teach the necessary theory and mindset to handle students of this age group.
Soft copies of the required study material and sufficient practice material will be provided and based on that few tests will be conducted.
The program duration is a minimum of 36 weeks.
Eligibility includes a basic understanding and aptitude for school Mathematics or Physics, liking for teaching, and sincerity and readiness to put in the required amount of hard work.
📅 Batch Schedule
Batch starts from 17 June 2026. Lectures are held every Wednesday and Saturday, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
One teacher can attend either Maths or Physics.
Venue: Siddharth Towers, Kothrud, Pune — in Offline mode if more than 15 participants are present, else in fully Online mode. For better understanding and involvement, we insist on Offline attendance.
After about 8 lectures, an offline test will be conducted. Depending upon performance in the test, the next course of action will be decided.

👥 Who Can Apply?
We invite interested candidates including home makers, retired active professionals, maths school teachers and anyone interested to apply. Both programs are completely free of charge for all participants.
